Details: Nigel Warburton

A founder member of the Humanist Philosophers Group, Nigel Warburton is perhaps best known for his introductory Philosophy books, all of which are published by Routledge. His main research area is the aesthetics of photography but he has also published in the area of applied ethics and his new book "Free Speech: A Very Short Introduction" www.vsi-free-speech.com is coming out in February 2009.

With David Edmonds he runs the popular podcast Philosophy Bites which has now had over three million downloads. Nigel also teaches courses on Aesthetics for Tate Modern.
